The tiptoeing in my jordans meme and how it works.
The tiptoeing in my jordans meme — also called the tip toe meme, tip toe in my jordans or the rumpelstiltskin tiptoe — is a ten-second barn scene that took over TikTok in October 2026. A grinning imp sneaks up on a terrified girl in the hay, set to Riff Raff’s “Tip Toe Wing In My Jawwdinz”. The clip itself was made with AI (it isn’t from a real movie), which made it the perfect template: anyone can be the one tiptoeing.
Where the meme came from
The AI clip was posted in August 2026. In early October, TikTok users paired it with the Riff Raff track and captions about sneaking around — early versions like “the type of dreams I be having after taking dollar store melatonin” pulled hundreds of thousands of views in days. Within a week there were accounts reposting nothing but new versions. The full origin story is on what is tiptoeing in my jordans.
The four beats of the template
| # | Beat | What happens |
|---|---|---|
| 01 | The shush | A tight close-up: the imp puts one finger to his lips and stares into the lens. This is the setup — something sneaky is about to happen. |
| 02 | The scare | Cut to the girl in the hay, hand over her mouth, eyes wide and wet. She is the “victim” of the joke, the person being snuck up on. |
| 03 | The grin | Back to the imp, arms spread wide, with a slow and far-too-pleased grin. This is where most captions land. |
| 04 | The tiptoe | A low shot of feet on their toes, one careful step at a time across the straw — the “tiptoeing in my jordans” moment the song is about. |
Frame-by-frame timing and framing are in the tip toe meme template.
How people use it
- Caption it. “Creeping downstairs at 2am for a lil treat”, “me walking past my mom’s room after curfew”, “walking into the meeting 10 minutes late”.
- Swap the tiptoer. Fictional characters, mascots, friends — and pets, which are some of the funniest versions (the tip toe meme for pets).
- Swap the victim. Put the friend who always gets pranked in the hay.
- Re-enact it. People film real versions with hay bales and a shiny jacket.
- Dress up as it. With Halloween close, the sparkly tailcoat, bow tie and a pair of Jordans make an easy costume of the tiptoer.
